My last two weeks in numbers

I just finished a huge grant writing cycle. We wrote some just for our organization, some as collaboratives with other organizations and some on behalf of school districts.
I thought I'd share our teams accomplishments:
  • 5 proposals mailed Monday
  • 7 nights we worked past 2am
  • 14 hours in a row slept on this Tuesday
  • 31 meetings with principals at very needy schools
  • 150 signatures collected on partnership agreements
  • 175 pages of narrative written and/or edited
  • 1000 brochures mailed to schools
  • 2,500 children in some of the highest risk neighborhoods in NYC (Brownsville, East NY, Far Rockaway, South Bronx and Harlem) could have a free summer program
  • 6,300 children who would get free after school programs or summer programs
  • approximately 6.2 million dollars of services proposed within NYC city
phew!
